Steve Bell, baritone horn teacher

Steve has been a credentialed music teacher in public school since 1991. He has taught at many different schools, and has been a private instructor since 1989. He holds a BA in Trumpet Performance from CSU Hayward. He has also led a choir and has taught flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, recorder and choral ensembles. As a performer, he can be heard around the Bay Area gigging in different situations and settings.

Steve also teaches trumpet and flute.


Dick Leland

Dick Leland, baritone horn teacher

Dick has taught Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, French horn, Baritone horn, etc. for 45 years. He has been a professional musician since 1959 and could write a book on all the vocal artists, orchestras, show bands, jazz bands and small groups he has played with, such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nelson Riddle's Orchestra and the Oakland Symphony. He also played and recorded with many Bay Area Rock, and Pop groups. His teaching methods are a physical approach to strong tone, endurance attacks in high and low range and basics and advanced studies.
