Steve Bell, flute teacher

Stephen Bell has taught music in public and private settings since 1990. He has been playing trumpet since 1968 and has a BA in Trumpet Performance from CSU Hayward (now CSU East Bay). He has taught at Bronstien Music since 1992 and has taught instrumental music classes San Francisco elementary schools since 1994. He teaches a variety of instruments at Bronstein Music including trumpet, baritone horn/euphonium, trombone, flute and recorder. In addition, he has played with a variety of ensembles including such varied styles as 30'/40's big band, funk/soul/disco and many other commercial stylings.

Howard Cespedes

Howard Cespedes, flute teacher

Howard has performed with numerous national and international acts: Pete Escovedo, Patti Austin, Louis Bellson, Clare Fisher, Four Tops, Roger Kellaway, Gladys Knight, Mark Levine, Linda Ronstadt, The Supremes, Temptations and others. He has written numerous works for jazz orchestra that have been performed at jazz festivals like Montreaux, Vienne, Umbria, San Jose, Monterey and Playboy. He has been teaching for over 25 years.

Howard also teaches clarinet and saxophone.

Abigail Graham

Abigail Sten, flute teacher

Abigail Graham holds a Master of Music degree from U.C. Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Music degree from the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music. She also has extensive teaching experience.

A frequent competitor, Abigail was a two-time winner of the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music Orchestral Audition Contest, as well as a two-time finalist in the conservatory’s concerto competition. As member of the National Flute Association, she was selected to perform at the NFA national convention in 2006.

Abigail has held the position of second flutist with the Channel Islands Chamber Orchestra in Ventura, California, as well as with the YMF Debut Orchestra in Los Angeles.

Abigail Graham is an active soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral flutist. She has performed music of varying styles in a wide range of venues, from the pubs of California to the palaces of Austria and Italy. She can frequently be found performing with traditional Irish dance music ensembles.
