Dick has taught Trombone, Trumpet, Tuba, French horn, Baritone horn, etc.
for 45 years. He has been a professional musician since 1959 and could write
a book on all the vocal artists, orchestras, show bands, jazz bands and small
groups he has played with, such as Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Nelson Riddle's
Orchestra and the Oakland Symphony. He also played and recorded with many
Bay Area Rock, and Pop groups. His teaching methods are a physical
approach to strong tone, endurance attacks in high and low range and
basics and advanced studies.

Cathleen Torres is a freelance musician in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She holds Business Administration and Music degrees from California State University, East Bay,
and a Masters of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University.
A current member of the Oxford Street Brass Quintet and the St. Peter’s Chamber Orchestra,
Cathleen has performed with other various chamber and orchestral groups, including the Baltimore Symphony,
Santa Cruz Symphony, California Pops Orchestra, Stanford Chamber Orchestra, Master Sinfonia, San Francisco
Composers Chamber Orchestra, Asian American Jazz Orchestra, Brazzissimo, Brass Act, and the Golden Gate Woodwind Quintet.
She teaches privately, performed with numerous community theatres and churches, has toured with Josh Groban in the Bay Area,
and has performed with Echo and the Bunnymen and Video Games Live!
