Lynda Arnold, piano teacher

In addition to producing her own recordings, Lynda has worked with numerous bands as an instrumentalist and vocalist. She has composed music for dance companies and produced other artists. She has a Music Degree from DePauw University. Lynda has been teaching since 2000 and her approach to teaching allows students to develop their technique and theory and further their knowledge of music in general.

Lynda also teaches flute.

Susan Bell

Susan Bell, piano teacher

Susan Bell teaches piano, guitar and lever harp to beginning and intermediate students. She studied music and music education, earning a BA at UC Berkeley and a Master's degree at College of Notre Dame de Namur. She studied classical guitar with Richard Patterson and Celtic harp with Janice Ortega. She serves as organist to St. John's United Church of Christ in San Bruno, and performs in a variety of ensembles including her family's trio of harp, flute and cello. Susan has taught private students for over twenty years. She also teaches classroom music for grades K-6 in Bay Area public schools.


Sarah Coy

Sarah Coy, piano teacher

Sarah Coy began studying classical piano for at the age of 7 with an emphasis on eartraining and musicianship. She received a B.A. in Music from San Francisco State University in 2011 where she studied with Dr. Victoria Neve. Composition and music theory are a focus to her, both in her approach in teaching and as a pianist. She began teaching in 2006 and has gone on to work with non-profits like Keyboard Educators in San Francisco public schools. With a passion for learning herself, she caters her teaching style dependent on the student's needs.


Priscilla del Rosario

Priscilla del Rosario, piano teacher

Priscilla del Rosario, Bachelor of Music, studied at the College of Holy Spirit Conservatory of Music (Manila, Philippines), Teachers College of Columbia University (New York), and the School of Dramatic Arts at the University of California, Berkeley. She is a member of the American Association of University Women (Washington, D.C. branch). Priscilla is also the former chairperson of the scholarship piano competition sponsored by the Music Teachers' Association of California, San Francisco branch.


Aiko Sakura

Available for lessons on Saturday

Aiko Sakura, piano teacher

Aiko holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Keyboard Education/Choral Emphasis from San Francisco State University and graduated with Magna Cum Laude in 2007. She has a Kodaly Teaching Certification level 1 and an Off-Schulwerk Certification level 1. Aiko speaks both Japanese and English and has a California Teaching Credential in Music and Japanese Grades 9-12. She is a dedicated music educator who believes all children and adults can be successful learners. She has been the Piano Accompanist for Choir at All-City Music Festival sponsored by Association of Instructors in Music.


Vincent Thai

Vincent Thai, piano teacher

Vinh is a composer and pianist who is familiar with many styles of music. He has played Classical, New Age, Jazz, Rock, Pop/Rock and Latin. He has a degree in music from SFSU. With extensive teaching experience in private and group settings, Vinh enjoys presenting new and interesting music to his students, letting them explore the beauty of every style. He has scored music for short films and composed Pop/Rock music for his performing band.

Languages spoken: Chinese Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish and English.

Vinh also teaches guitar.
