Heather Otte, voice teacher

Heather Anne Otte is an emerging dynamic performer and instructor who walks the fine line between classical singer and straight actress. Her 10+ years of training and experience in many styles of theater paired with a classical music education make her a unique and versatile instructor. A lifelong dance interest spanning ballet to belly dance makes for a well rounded set of performance skills. Heather is a recent graduate of San Francisco State University with a Bachelors in Drama Performance and very soon will also have her BA in Classical Voice.

She is dedicated to giving her students all the best she can offer of her knowledge, experiences and resources. She believes that a good healthy vocal technique is applicable across all genres.


Alexandra Sessler

Alexandra Sessler, voice teacher

Alexandra is an active singer and teacher in both academic and community environments. She completed a Bachelor's of Music at the University of Miami Frost School of Music in spring of 2008 and recently completed a Master's in voice performance at San Francisco State University.

Currently an Associate Teacher at SF State, she teaches voice classes and assistant directs the Women's Chorus. Alexandra is a Professional member of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus and performs often with local opera companies including Golden Gate Opera and Lamplighters Music Theatre. She has appeared as a soloist in numerous large-scale choral works, as well as in Mission Baroque, an early music ensemble. She is a cantor and section leader at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic church, in San Francisco's Castro district.

As a teacher, she tailors her approach to each one of her students, allowing them to become the singers they are meant to be.
