YAMAHA YTR-8310Z CUSTOM PRO-TRUMPET
Designed for recording legend, Bobby Shew by renowned trumpet expert, Bob Malone.
.445" Medium Bore; One piece 5", side seamed bell with French bell bead. The side seam places the least resonant part of the bell at the solder points of the braces, where it belongs. The process of bending the bell after the hand hammering and spinning process is complicated by the seam being on the side. That's why bean counters decided some time ago to place the seam in the inside of the bend where it's less likely to split. The ensuing rejection of bells made unusable by the splitting at the side seam makes the horn more expensive to manufacture, but many feel it's worth the expense.

This is a very easy trumpet to play, producing a very rich tone.

Includes case and mouthpiece.
